In order to prevent Corona virus infection in Jehanabad district, “Awareness and Mask Distribution Day” program was organized and free masks were distributed in villages / Tolas, block and panchayat of the District. Along with this, people were given an oath by giving masks that we will make ourselves, our family and our society aware to wear masks, so that the corona virus infection can be 100% eliminated in the district.

On June 09, 2020, mask distribution and awareness day will be organized throughout the district to protect Districts from Corona Virus and adopt masks as a habit. For this work, District Magistrate told that from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 04:00 AM to 06:00 PM on June 09, all the officials of the district visited the rural and urban areas as rally, making people aware of wearing masks. Will and those who do not have masks will be provided masks.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the District Magistrate, Jehanabad, Mr. Navin Kumar gave a message to the people to keep the environment safe by planting trees in the Vikas Bhawan premises in the Collectorate. He informed that the district administration has set a target of planting about 8.5 lakh trees, for which the nursery has been prepared.

District Magistrate Conducted a Meeting with members of Fertilizer Monitoring Committee. He instructed the District Agricultural Officer, Senior Scientist, Gowar, Block Agricultural Officer and Farmer’s Advisor to visit the area to ensure availability of fertilizer.

A meeting was held with farmers and farmer’s advisors of Kako, Hulasganj and Modanganj blocks to provide work to the farmers in the auditorium at Vikas Bhavan under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Mr. Navin Kumar. He said that soybean cultivation can be good in these blocks. Soybean cultivation requires less water and it can be profitable for about 34 to 35 thousand in 1 acre. He assured the farmers that soon they will be provided with soybean seeds so that they can cultivate soybeans.

District Magistrate, Mr. Navin Kumar reviewed the situation arising out of the corona virus along with the Block Development Officer, Circle Officer, Police Officer-in-Charge, Chief, Ward Member of all the blocks of the district through the video conferencing. At the video conference, the district officer directed all the heads to purchase masks made by Jeevika Didi in the district with the available funds of the fifth Finance Commission and go to their respective areas and distribute the masks among the people. He directed the continuous monitoring and monitoring of the return workers from outside, who are doing home quarantine. Also, providing employment to return workers was also discussed. It was directed to comply with social distancing.

The District Magistrate informed that work is being carried out at a campaign level to develop the district as an industrial hub, so that migrant laborers get quick work and his economic condition can improve in Corona period.
